This might sound like an odd item to be on our "wish list" but since we rehabilitate, many of our rescued animals are put on a high quality veterinary "home cooked" diet while under their treatment plan. Home cooked diets can build the dogs immune system and restore much needed deficiencies in their bodies for a stronger recovery. The home cooked diets recommended by our vet for our sickly dogs contain only the freshest human grade items like: lean chicken and beef, potatoes, carrots, squash, rice etc.... Pets that are given the home made diet thoroughly enjoy the luxuries of a having nice warm comforting meal while they aren't feeling good!! Transporting dogs is always an issue and a serious cost with rescues. Gas gift cards are used when we travel to pull rescue animals from the shelters, transport dogs to and from vet appointments, grooming appointments, foster homes, and other rescue groups. Gas Card also help us out tremendously while we are going in-between pick ups, drop offs, meet-n-greets, owner surrenders and basic errands in behalf of the dogs.
